South Africa has decided to make some big changes in their team. Matthew Breetzke, who scored 150 runs in his first match, will now bat at No. 3 instead of opening. Tony de Zorzi will start the batting alongside captain Temba Bavuma. Another important change is that Heinrich Klaasen is coming in for Jason Smith. Klaasen will also be the wicketkeeper instead of Kyle Verreynne, who will play as a batter.
Changes in South Africa’s Bowling
South Africa has also made two changes in their bowling attack. Corbin Bosch and Keshav Maharaj are replacing Mihlali Mpongwana and Junior Dala. Join bpexch app for more cricket news.
Lungi Ngidi, who played the first match but bowled only seven overs, is back and ready to perform better.
Pakistan’s Team Updates
Pakistan has also made some changes! Saud Shakeel is back in the team after last playing an ODI in November 2023.
He replaces Kamran Ghulam and will bat at No. 3. Unfortunately, fast bowler Haris Rauf is injured and won’t play. Mohammad Hasnain is taking his place in the team.
Karachi’s Pitch Challenge
The match moved to Karachi after the first two games had been played in Lahore. The pitch in Karachi might be trickier for batters, so both teams have added more spin bowlers. The ball may turn a lot, making it harder to hit big shots.
